Orion Slave girls

we had issues keeping the grease paint on us (could't find an airbrusher) Teresa (the really green one in the middle used food coloring with lotion and it came off pretty good, but she looked like the hulk...any suggestions on other things we could use to make us green?

to keep greasepaint on, you need a powder to set it....
an airbrush *would* be optimal, but I would suggest Ben Nye MagiColor liquid paint or MagiCake aqua paint, and then spray with final seal.

we tried to use baby powder because I forgot my setting powder at home :)- does the ben nye paint dry well or flake off easily?

This post about goblyn and ork makeup may be of use to you. The Food coloring in a spray bottle method looks and seems to hold up the best. thewww.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php

In my experience the best body paint is Kryolan Aquacolor. You can put it on with a damp sponge or an airbrush, and it dries quickly and is long-wearing (best if you use the fixier spray). I found that the Ben Nye water-based paint tended to flake a lot.

Good call Maral, I use Kryolan when I performed as a blue devil, very long wearing and using an airbrush made a world of difference! :)
