What NOT to Do :-)

OK, my curiousity with the semi-permanent glue and strip eyelashes got the best of me.

My advice... DON'T DO IT!!!

It looks great when you apply them, but when you shower/bathe in them, they clump together AND the glue is rigid and starts to itch. You can't scrunch your eyes together because of the pain and it's so difficult to remove.

I sat in front of the television for hours holding the oily remover on them with both facial tissue and cotton swabs rolling them over the tops of my lash line. I still lost a TON of natural eyelashes.

This is an experiment gone horibbly wrong. DON'T DO IT.

Oh you poor baby! I hope it wasn't too painful. That's why I just don't even try these things anymore. I have the worst luck and things always go wrong when I try them. -Freya

LOL, I'm always curious. I would have tried it some time sooner or later and I learned the hard way why the eyelash glues don't mesh. Keep them separate :-)

I still have some natural eyelashes, thank heaven. They are just a little shorter and sparser than they were before.

Hopefully, they will grow back :-). Time will tell, har, har, har!

Oh, this reminds me of something. There was a girl that I knew in cosmetology school. Part of her eyebrow was missing for nine months. I later found out that she waxed the skin off her eyebrow and the hair never grew back! YIKERS!

I hope my eyelashes grow back. I'll be keeping close tabs on them!

I did the same thing with the permanent lash glue and individual lash clusters...its was extremely painful because the glue dries hard and scratchy and I lost a LOT of lash getting the nasty stuff off. They DID grow back after a few months. Now I just stick with the Duo clear adhesive and call it a day. I carry the tube of ahesive with me to dance events so that if a lash lifts I can easily fix it. I use the nasty rigid glue for bindi application instead.
