Hey everyone. I'm trying to get this whle gypsy/spanish look with my hair for a cab piece. I'm trying to do the spanish bun low at the side and then attach a rose. I've got longish-thin hair, no lower than mid back. Any suggestions? it would be MUCH appreciated.

You can also make your own bun form out of old(clean) pantyhose..

Tue, April 15, 2008 - 9:38 AMSee if you can find the mesh hair bun doughnuts. I used to find them at drugstores, but they're really hard to find now. I found some on Ebay, and they're still really easy to find in Europe (I travel a lot to Germany and bring tons of these back with me). Basically, it's a mesh doughnut, you put your hair into a ponytail through the doughnut and the wrap and pin the hair around it. It's makes a really sturdy bun that can support flowers and other hair accessories.

Tue, April 15, 2008 - 9:58 AMThis is the pretty much what I have and use and I love them! They're very easy to use. So you may have to look online or maybe drugstores in your area still carry them. They also come in different colors depending on your hair color.
