Then I also prefer to add the things I want to the pure stuff I've never been happy with the cocoabutter and things that Lush mixes in with theirs it doesn't do much to keep my hair moisturised. My boyfriend and I tried it a few months ago and it did absolutely nothing to both of our heads of hair. We did exactly what the store clerk said and went by what was suggested by most people on the lush forums. I'll echo the sentiment that it's very messy but the scent also gets very nauseating after a while (which is sad because it starts out very pleasant). Hopefully I just got a bad batch... However, this has left me in a bit of a situation as I'd like to continue henna-ing my hair as I love the colour (if not the smell or the process - cow pat head anyone??) and the fact that it's natural and also good for my long hair (which has taken a lot of crazy colour abuse over the years). I need to find some decent henna which will give me the same glorious red colour without sending me traffic-stopping ginger or damping the colour down. I've heard of the Lush henna bar but was wondering what people's experiences were with it, or whether anyone has tried the body quality henna from the online sites? See, I'm kinda lost as to the different types and flummoxed as to which one would be good.
