If you have any questions you can find me on my tribe

This is probably the most informative site I've found: http://quinnster.fqdn.net/
There's a lot of info on there so you'll have to sift through some of it.

A few things I'd like to mention from personal experience are 1. It's a good idea to at least start with 100% Kanekalon jumbo braid which can be bought places like Doctored Locks: http://ikickshins.net/bulk.htm and I Kick Shins: http://www.doctoredlocks.com/store/kk_jumbo.html
I've not yet ordered from Doctored Locks personally but I know a lot of people who are very pleased with them. I should also note that while I Kick Shins has a fine color selection, they certainly take their sweet time getting your orders to you.

2. Steamers work much MUCH better than hair dryers and boiling water. If you have access to one it's really your best bet.

and 3. The quality of your back-combing reflects the quality and long life of your dreads. Don't skimp on it!

Good Luck!
