My hair is about to the top of my shoulders and it was cut to be longer in the front and shorter in the back. Whereas I love my hairstyle, I've never had it short while dancing and all my effects are made for long hair. Anyone have any ideas for what I can do with my not so short but not long enough hair?

Sat, October 17, 2009 - 6:25 AMcheck some of my profile pictures- I have jaw length hair in the front angled back to a short shave (about a #2) I don't have any super recent ones of how I do it but it has been that way for almost 2 years so the pictures so be tolerable.
I do a lot of pig tails/bun up on the top/sides of my head and then put all my hair falls on top of that.
I also will do one pony tail/bun thing and put a fake hair scrunchie around with a few flowers. its simple and elegant for the most part. =)
actual a lot of options with that style. -

Sat, October 24, 2009 - 7:18 PMI think your hair is a good length and that you could try a tribal head band, which I think looks really nice with your length of hair. Last year when my troupe performed, my instructor wore a headband because her hair was too short for hair falls (it came down to the top of her ears) and she looked great. A headdress is also an option (I have pictures of both in my album).
If you don't like that, I agree with the other ladies, you can use a hair piece that you can throw away.
