there are so many costume colours I'd like to wear (tangerine, light green/blue, etc), but being an ash blonde with pale blue eyes makes it look like a ghost in a tube of colour. If I got a full wig in, say, medium-dark brunette, would it look aweful? Or, can I pull it off if I really work my lashes and brows? I always use dark red polish & lip colour already.

Fri, October 17, 2008 - 4:33 PMI think if you colored in your brows to match & wore fake eyelashes, you could pull it off. Just remember that both your makeup color palette & the amount of makeup you'll need to put on will change with wearing the wig -- put on your makeup while your wig is on, not before.

Fri, October 17, 2008 - 6:25 PMAlso, you'd probably want to stick with a cooler palette to match your natural skintone. Greens & blues are probably fine, as are purples, but tangerine might not work for you.
