The Best Kept Secret!

topic posted Wed, January 16, 2008 - 7:07 AM by  Raven's Fire
I am a MAC addict and as a MAC addict, I snub all other cosmetics, until now.
OMG, I found this site ladies, that you cannot, cannot afford to pass up. www.eyeslipsface.com/default.asp

I was really leary at first when I found their website; then I thought about it, I really had nothing to lose. I ordered an eyeshadow brush and every single powder eyeshadow color listed. I recieved my order yesterday and I just love, love, love it!!! I even placed another order for their cream eyeshadow and some more makeup brushes. I do not ordering blushes, lip color or foundations via internet for obivious reasons.

Please check it out, almost all of the merchandise on this site is $1.00, yes my dears, you heard me right, $1.00.

Okay, now that I finished gushing, The eyeshadow brush is soft, great for applying eyeshadow and it can also be used for blending.

Any hoo, check it out and please let me know what you think.

thanks for listening

I ordered from them once and was thrilled. I took their black and mushed it with my Eye Kandy Black Bart, which I love but is not really "thick" enough for me (the black is not metallic and worn as a liner is great but not heavy enough for me), and it gives me just a bit of shine in my liner...LOVE IT.

So, you are saying that this stuff is as good as MAC? Really?

I am a fan of how MAC applies, and this applies similarly but not dead-on. BUT it grinds in well with the glitter, so I'm happy!!! It's very good quality, but doesn't have the silky feel of the more rich MAC colors when you touch it.

They sell this brand at my target, and I love it!! Its all $1, and you can buy a compact that fits 4 of their eyeshadows, or face powder or lip gloss stuff. Not too thrilled with the lip stuff, its thick and sticky and comes off on all my clothes. But the eyeshadow is great, rsp for blending with the more expensive stuff to make it last longer.

Has anyone tried the mineral foundations? Or the mineral kits? I'm VERY tempted to order, but does anyone have experience??

Do you mean Bare Minerals? If so, yes. I will never buy anything else again! Everything I use has to be hypo-allergenic. And this stuff truely does blend perfectly to the point of looking completely natural. Its silky to the touch and doesnt rub off. Im very confident when I wear my Bare Minerals foundation. But I cannot speak for everyone. Everyone has a different chemistry. See how some are arguing over $1.00 make-up? (not so much arguing, but you know..) Some people like light and cheap, some people like heavy, expensive and bold. Eh, its all just a matter of opinion. But personally, I cant see how you could go wrong with the Bare Minerals collection.
As for the Eye Kandy.....that stuff can make ANY eyeshadow look FANTASTIC!

Wow, maybe I'm just doing it wrong then. I bought this stuff and it's sat in a drawer for years now because it makes every line and pore on my face look 10 times worse and it rubs off like crazy. It doesn't seem to matter how lightly or thinkly I put it on, or what kind of moisturizer I use under it. What's your trick? Maybe it's just my face. lol

I don't like their lipstick. That's about it.
I ordered $30 worth cause I couldn't stop. You should see the box they had to ship it in! lol My make-up no longer fits in my make-up bag.

Incluiding the "plumper" lipsticks?? I think I'm going to HAVE to order at this point and the three thing's that I'd get would be the mineral wear, the plumping lip package (or maybe just one), and an eyeshadow. Anyone use the plumping lipgloss?

I wanted darker lip colors than they carry, didn't try the lip plumpers based on the reviews tho. I did get a few of the lip glosses and one of the liquid lipsticks, in Ruby Slipper. I like it, just not as dark as I expected. The lip gloss in Fairy is AWESOME!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I got my package of mineral eye shadows in the mail yesterday and wore them when we went out. I had it on for 10+ hours, minimul creasing and no fading!! The colors are so much more fabulous than they look on the web site! Darker, and all the colors I got but the black have a shimmer to them. Now I'll have to wait till they're back in stock to buy the rest!
