I'm sure this has already been covered, but...
I have really sensitive eyes and have problems with mascara either flaking off into my eyes, or burning/dryness from the formula. Does anyone have any suggestions for a moisturizing mascara, suitable for sensitive eyes?
What about a moisturizing eye makeup remover suitable for sensitive eyes?
Thanks!
Ash

Re: suggestions for eye sensitivity
Thu, May 1, 2008 - 12:58 PMI find that No7 from boots is very good for sensitive eyes, so are alot of the Avon mascara's, and i also like Clinique ones. I tend to get itchy runny eyes when using cheap ones under £8.00/$16, and i try to see if they are suitable for contact lense wearer's, although i do not wear them myself, mascara's designed for them are better for sensitive eyes.
As for eye make up remover, i have to use a brand called "Simple" eye make up remover, its fragrance, and perfume, colour free, though i'd recommend letting the cotton wool soaked pad rest on your eyelid a few seconds to disolve the make up before wiping for best effect.
The Body Shop also has an eye make up remover which is good for sensitive eyes, it might also help after removing eye make up to just put a water soaked cotton wool pad on your eye again for a second or two, and then just wipe over the eye lid, and under the eye to remove the last traces of make up, and remover, it doesn't matter how gentle a product is, if its left on the eyes it will still irritate if not removed.
Hope that helps :)
