What was that wax thing for removing hair? I ordered it and my ex got a perverse pleasure trying to master its use on the delicate areas. It went in the trash.

Bags (green for fruit; brown for bread). I just had to try these from Walgreens. Total waste of 20 bucks.

Orange cleaner or anything else Billy Mays sells. Thumbs down.

EZ Combs (2 hair combs with crystals - butterfly style) I tried a set of these in a mall kiosk and loved them but didn't want to pay $20 for one set. Went to Walgreens and saw "as seen on tv" for $10. Still can't figure out how to securely install them.

Knife sharpener from the home show. Why is it only the pitchman can make it work?

Various mops/brooms also from the home show. The don't work if they stay in the closet.

Water magnets from the farm show. These are fake chamois in assorted sizes. I bought them years and years ago and still use them. For a while I never bought a bag of paper towels.

How about from QVC???

They had some face tightener. Got sent back.

Weed puller. Got sent back.

Garden Grabber Rake. It's green and it scoops up the leaves with a pull of a lever in the handle. Works beautifully and totally worth the money if you have lots of leaves and other yard debris. You don't have to bend over and it picks up way more than with your hands or other rake.

I tried the green bags when I saw them at my local Walgreens. They are HORRIBLE. I ended up throwing them away. You see, there is a "trick" to using them - you have to remove your produce from the bags twice per day and dry them thoroughly, as well as dry the inside of the bag thoroughly.
The bags make the produce "sweat," which actually accellerates the rotting. I didn't read the instructions before I used the bags (I thought, "How hard is it to use a freaking BAG?") And my new, fresh produce was completely rotten and unuseable in TWO DAYS. No kidding.
The instructions tell you that in order for the bags to work you have to basically babysit them all day, constantly removing the condensation which collects inside the bags. I think they're useless.

I use Proactive. I had beautiful skin all through high school and then I went to college and I got horrible acne! We're talking white heads, black heads, cystic (majorly!) plus I'm a picker and for some reason everything was so slow to heal. I tried everything I could get my hands on in the stores, in the hippie health foods stores (black drawing salve smells horrible all over your face plus it itches!) nothing really worked well. My family were always telling me "you should try that Proactive stuff" but it was kinda outa my price range for something I was sure wouldn't work simply because it was on an infomercial. But my mom offered to pay for it, so I thought I'd give it a go and lo and behold with in a week my face looked clearer, and two weeks later I only had one or two spots that were still healing and everything else was really clear. I eventually switched to their extra strength formula and can report no major breakouts. There are somethings that I don't like about it but until I find something that takes care of my acne just as well as the Proactive, and clears up my other issues I'm gonna stick with my good ole infomercial face system.
I also have gotten a The Firm system which just made my butt and thighs bigger even though that's what they *promised* it wouldn't do. So it's kinda hit or miss, I do get sucked into infomercials but I think it's because I like to flex my " willing suspension of disbelief" muscle. Now I want to find a baby that I can test YOUR BABY CAN READ! on. ;-)) lol
