I dont know if this is the best place to ask but I totally fancy this hair style. (see pic in this tribes photos). I hope this is an okay place to ask, Im sorry Im a tard when it comes to links and what not, oh and hair styles lol. I just wanna learn how to do it. My hairs pretty thin and longish. Im also a visual person so if you try to tell me, be really clear, I cant always picture stuff. Anyone even know what the hair style is called? Anyone know of any tutorials? Thank you kindly :)

Fri, May 16, 2008 - 9:51 PMRoll your hair n the top just like in the picture. Use alott of hair spray but allot!!! Then heat it up well and use bobby pins to hold it in place.

Sat, May 17, 2008 - 7:58 AMI have been practicing my victory rolls, and thats just it, it takes practice, when you your hair is longer its a bit harder. You need to get some texture in your hair. Hairspray and curling irons help. Just play with it. Dont wait to try to do it just before you go out., or you may get frustrated...when you are just hanging out at home in the evening or on the weekend, give it a whirl. a few times. Have fun! Its very cute when you do get it right. Oh and a nice big round brush is helpful also. Watch those tutorials, thats how I learned.

Sat, May 17, 2008 - 3:40 PMI have a feeling that Ill try it and itll look great one time but Ill have no one to go to show it off, and when I need it to look good, I wont be able to get it! lol, happens everytime! I practiced a bit before I showered this morning and it was a lot easier to get it to even start looking like one. When I tried it with clean hair it was too slick. i wish I had time to try it for tonight :) -

Mon, May 19, 2008 - 6:10 AMI have found that back combing the base before you roll the hair helps give the pins a base to grip to but I have very fine hair.
I remember when I first practiced them I ended up looking like Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker's Dracula!!!!
I love them and have just decided to grow my fringe (bangs) out again!
