Pour it in the palm of your hand, rub your hands back and forth kind of like you're washing them, pat your hands together a few times gentley. With your fingertips at your top hairline, pat your face all around using your entire inner hand, using the natural bulge of the palm to work it into the eye-sockets. I once saw a human statue who used flour. Her makeup looked bad at the start, and by the end she looked lumpy... and she wasnt even moving.. I always suggest Ben Nye as opposed to halloween makeup, it stays on through everything. I mean EVERYTHING. Just remember to set it really really well.
