I found these really gorgeous arrowheads on the Kult of Athena site:

I don't know if they be too heavy to use though.
Could they be used on their own?

Re: Turning arrowheads into hair ornaments
Sat, July 11, 2009 - 9:02 AMThey look like hairsticks to me. I suppose they might be heavy if they're repros of real arrowheads, but 9 1/2" isn't much longer than chopsticks. Depending on how big and tight your hairdo gets, they might just work as is. They're pretty!

Re: Turning arrowheads into hair ornaments
Sun, July 12, 2009 - 7:08 AMOooooh, those are nice...but I must admit, I thought when I read 'arrowheads' that it was going to be the variety that the natives made out of rock, y'know? I've got a few of those and was thinking, how cool would it be to make a hair ornament with an arrowhead? heehee -

Mon, July 13, 2009 - 2:59 PMThe repros that I have found in real life that were made to be used weren't heavy, but they weren't from Kult of Athena.
