It's just an idea if you wear flowers too like the 1st pic link you had there of Miz Brice you could try that. Gives your head more room to attach lots of other goodies. As for tassels I just got some and I'm still figuring out wear to put those.....I may pin those onto my headband.....my instructor does this....looks really cool. They are made of black string and have beads embroidered onto them & they resemble real hair. I have short hair, and had planned on dividing it into four, BUT my ponytail is very small. I have made some 'falls' that are tied onto gold ribbon which I can just tie around my little ponytail, but they are yarn and the like, because I can't work out how to put the hair onto it, because my ponytail is so small. Not sure at all I'm making any sense- but I hope someone will understand enough to help! I'd also like some advice on how to make a fake bun, or at least find out what others use to cover the place that their fake hair joins their own ponytails. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply or any other Beauty supply place that doesn't require a Cosmetology license to shop at. There are usually great finds at stores specializing in Black hair care and Ethnic hair needs. You can even make your own 'Rachel" style hairpiece/headress by braiding a few paks worth of 'hair', and sewing it into the shape you want. Complete with most of the jewelry and dangly bits, so all you have to is pin it on before performance. Good luck!
