I'm a Huge fan of Lauren on YouTube aka panacea81. www.youtube.com/user/panacea81
She's started using the 120 Pro Palette in quite a few of her tutorials. They always turn out fabulous (because she's a goddess) so I broke down and ordered one. Now I'm settling down to wait for it to ship from Hong Kong. sigh...
So who has one? What do you think of it? I plan to use it for stage make-up and for photo shoots. I'd love to hear what other people thought of it.

Sun, February 1, 2009 - 7:51 PMI bought it nd loved it so much I bought a few of their other pallettes too! I use Urban Decay Primer Poition underneath the shadows, and they are vibrant and last all day long! Oh! And a little bit goes a long way! They are very highly pigmented.

Mon, February 2, 2009 - 5:16 PMI got mine from Beauty factory or Beauties factory, something like that, but I don't see them listed anymore....... I'm wondering if with all teh recent changes something happened, which is sad becasue they were FABULOUS to deal with. As long as you paid like a dollar extra for insurance, they would replace your palette if any of the colors broke. They were out of Hong Kong tho, so I'm thinking they may just be using a differant account.

Tue, February 3, 2009 - 9:36 AMOn the ebay listings, they often list paltette#1 and palette#2 (you can actually buy a 240 palette if u like), but the colors look the same,just in a different order...Are the finishes different? On youtube, people seem to buy the palette with the unusual 2-shadows-mixed-together in it. Do guys know what i am talking about? are there 2 palette colour colour choices or are the finishes different?

Wed, February 4, 2009 - 5:49 AMoOk, I have two diiferant palettes I got from the same seller, one is an 80 color Manly, it has two trays with square eyeshadows, it has both shimmers and a few matte colors. The other is by Beauties Factory, it's the 120, has dime sized eyeshadows in shimmers and mattes. Both are fabulous.

Tue, February 3, 2009 - 7:24 PMI'm a huge fan of Lauren too! I bought the I think it's the 88 palette or something from Beauties Factory also and it's really great! Great color pay-off and long lasting, vibrant colors! Of course you need to use a good primer on your lids.....I've really loved using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance!
If you're getting the 120 palette, you'll be happy because it has like every color in the universe! I find they work well with other shadows like MAC pigments etc just fine.
It takes a while to receive it but be patient it will come. The size of the shadows is small, but since they are highly pigmented, it should last a long time!

Check out Debstan1 as well, she does some great stuff and some of her older tutorials use the Beauties Factory palettes. -

Thu, February 12, 2009 - 4:47 PMWell, it came in the mail on Monday. That was a lot faster than I was expecting! It's a bit smaller than I thought, but I hear a little goes a long way with these babies.
The best part is the brand name: Manly Professional Cosmetics
